Bill Evans - Discografía Cronológica 1960

   Contrabajista Scott LaFaro

El año 1960 estará marcado para Bill Evans, por su colaboración con Scott LaFaro. De 9 registros del año, cuatro son con el destacado contrabajista. 

Ese año grabaron dos albumes en el celebrado y famoso club Birdland. El conjunto completado con el baterista Paul Motian, el cual en los años anteriores se había convertido en partner de Evans, comenzaron su ruta para convertirse en un ejemplo de virtuosismo del formato trío.

Se caracteriza el año también por realizar grabaciones dentro del third stream music, un álbum  con George Russell y otro con Gunther Schuller y John Lewis, el pianista que formó el afamado Modern Jazz Quartet.

También participó en dos álbumes con los destacados trombonistas Kai Winding, Jimmy Jnepper y Jay Jay Johnson.

El último registro del año, es un curioso y valioso documento sonoro, con un ensayo de Bill Evans con Scott LaFaro, del tema  " My foolish heart ", incluyendo además una entrevista a Bill Evans realizada por George Klavin.
